A&M International Students Reminded About ExCET

Anyone who intends to take the Examination for the Certification of Educators in Texas (ExCET) test on February 7 must obtain a barcode from Texas A&M International University's College of Education by Thursday, December 18.

The ExCET test barcodes are available from the College of Education's Certification Officer, Dr. Cathy Sakta. Students may contact Dr. Sakta at 326-2691, via email at cgsakta@tamiu.edu or by visiting her office in the Sue and Radcliffe Killam Library room 333A West.

Persons who plan to take the ExCET are encouraged to attend a free ExCET Review to be conducted on Tuesday, December 2 from 5 - 8:30 p.m. in Bullock Hall room 101.

After the start of the Spring 1998 semester in January, all students must attend a review session as part of the eligibility requirements for obtaining an ExCET test barcode.
