A&M International Extends Tuition and Fees Deadline to Jan. 9

Texas A&M International University has extended the deadline for tuition and fee payment from December 18 to Friday, January 9 for students who registered early for Spring Semester courses.

The payment deadline was deferred to Jan. 9 for the benefit of University students who may be eligible for tuition and fee tax credit in 1998 under President Clinton's Hope Scholarship and Lifetime Learning Tax Credits.

Unpaid registrants or those not covered by financial aid will be dropped from class rolls at 5 p.m. Jan. 9. Students who do not pay by the deadline will need to register again during Regular Registration to be conducted at A&M International's main campus on January 14 and 15, from 1 - 7 p.m.

Spring Semester classes at A&M International begin January 20.
