University Offers Free Talk on Sports Injuries March 4

Texas A&M International University will hold a lunchtime talk entitled "Rites of Spring: Preventing and Overcoming Sports Injuries" on Wednesday, March 4 from 12 noon - 1 p.m. in Bullock Hall room 101.

Featured guest speaker will be Dr. David Garza, president of the Health Care Alliance of Laredo.

Admission is free and members of the community are cordially invited to attend.

Persons who attend the talk may bring their lunch to the presentation. Beverages and light snacks will be served.

The talk is part of a series of free lunchtime talks sponsored through the University's Safety, Health, and Wellness Initiative. The final talk of the series, "Sexual Diversity Panel Discussion," will be held on Wednesday, April 29 from 12 noon - 1 p.m. in Bullock Hall room 101.
