A&M International Signs Umbrella Agreement with Argentinian University

Texas A&M International University recently signed an umbrella agreement with Universidad de Ciencias Empresariales y Sociales (UCES) of Buenos Aires, Argentina.

At the signing ceremony, which took place in Pellegrino Hall recently, University officials and the president of UCES, Dr. Horacio A. O'Donnell, agreed to work together on future educational endeavors.

Representing A&M International at the ceremony were University Provost Dr. Larry W. Boyd and College of Business Administration and Graduate School of International Trade and Business Administration Dean Dr. Khosrow Fatemi. Also present were Chair of the Accounting and Information Systems Department Dr. Stephen McNett, Associate Director of the Institute for International Trade Jannet Garcia and several other officials of the University.

Located in the heart of Buenos Aires, UCES is a business school that is committed to providing its students a quality education based on theory and real-world practice.

The umbrella agreement will allow the two universities to establish a student exchange program as well as participate together in research, conference and conduct joint publication.

Both institutions will continue to work together to define the specifics of the student exchange program operation and to explore the possibility of conducting a dual masters of business administration program, Fatemi said.
