Over 90 local, regional, and national employers will participate in "Global Opportunities `98," a job and career fair to be held at Texas A&M International University's main campus, 5201 University Boulevard, in the Kinesiology/Convocation Building on Tuesday, March 24 from 12 noon - 3 p.m.

The event, which is sponsored by the University's Office of Career Planning and Placement, will afford A&M International students and alumni an opportunity to learn information about possible employment opportunities and receive advice on career planning and successfully following chosen career paths.

"It's a great opportunity for our students and our alumni to consider new careers, assess their current careers, or perhaps begin to consider augmenting their career skills with a graduate degree. The best part is that they can accomplish all of this in one location with no travel or expense to them at times convenient to them," said Viky Garcia, Director of Career Planning and Placement at A&M International.

The event is free of charge. A&M International students and alumni interested in attending may contact the Office of Career Planning and Placement at 326-2260 for additional information.
