A&M International Students May Sign Up For Job Fair Trip

Texas A&M International University's Office of Career Planning and Placement is organizing a one-day trip to San Marcos for A&M International students who wish to participate in the National Multicultural Job Expo to be held at Southwest Texas State University on Thursday, April 16.

A&M International students may sign up for the Job Expo trip in the Office of Career Planning and Placement, located in the Sue and Radcliffe Killam Library room 157. A $10 refundable deposit is required to sign up. Students who travel to the Job Expo on the Career Planning and Placement trip will receive a free Job Expo T-shirt.

The University-sponsored trip will be made via a 15-passenger van. Interested students should sign up as soon as possible since seating is being reserved on a first-come basis.

A&M International students who participate in the Job Expo trip will depart from the A&M International campus at 7 a.m. on April 16 and return to Laredo in the evening. Trip participants should wear business attire and should have copies of their resume with them.

The National Multicultural Job Expo attracts top employers from around the state and around the country.

A&M International students who need more information should contact the University's Office of Career Planning and Placement at 326-2260. Their office hours are 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, and Friday and 8 a.m. - 7 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday.
