University's Language Institute Offering Foreign Language Classes
Texas A&M International University's International Language Institute (ILI) is currently conducting registration for French, Italian and Spanish courses to be held at the University's main campus beginning May 18.
Two French courses, Beginning French and Intermediate French, will be held May 18 - July 9, from 7:30 - 10 p.m. Beginning French will be held on Monday and Wednesday evenings. Intermediate French will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays evenings. Both courses consist of 40 classroom hours. Tuition is $200.
A Beginning Italian course will be held May 19 - July 9, from 7:30 - 10 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays evenings. The course consists of 40 classroom hours. Tuition is $200.
Beginning Spanish and Intermediate Spanish courses each consisting of 80 classroom hours will be held Monday - Thursday evenings, from 7:30 - 10 p.m. May 18 - July 10. Tuition is $350.
An intensive Intermediate Spanish course consisting of 160 classroom hours will be held weekday mornings, Monday - Friday, from 8 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. May 18 - July 10. Tuition is $700.
Foreign language courses offered by the International Language Institute emphasize listening, speaking, and grammar skills. Maximum class size is 12 students in order to promote close interaction between students and instructors.
Interested persons may register for the French, Italian and Spanish courses at the ILI offices located in the Sue and Radcliffe Killam Library room 214.
