Sen. Gramm to Discuss Social Security June 30 at University

What is the future of Social Security? Anyone who is interested in learning more about the issue is invited to attend a discussion with US Senator Phil Gramm on "Saving Social Security."

The discussion will be held at Texas A&M International University on Tuesday, June 30 at 9:15 a.m. in the Great Room of the Sue and Radcliffe Killam Library (room 319).

During the discussion, Sen. Gramm will share his thoughts and insights on the issue of Social Security.

"The looming Social Security crisis . . . is a human tragedy which forces us to choose between economic opportunity for our children and retirement security for our parents," said Sen. Gramm.

The discussion will also include an opportunity for members of the audience to ask questions and offer comments.
