Local Students Eligible for Awards for Concurrent Enrollment

This Fall at Texas A&M International University the option of concurrent enrollment has been expanded to include high school juniors as well as seniors.

Concurrent enrollment makes it possible for qualified high school students to enroll at A&M International and earn college credit for coursework.

Also available for the first time this fall are a limited number of awards to concurrent students that are valued at $250.

To be eligible for concurrent enrollment at A&M International, a student must be a Senior or Junior in high school, have an 85 GPA or higher, complete a Concurrent Admissions application and have approval from their high school counselor or principal.

As of Fall 1998, the Texas Academic Skills Program (TASP) test is required for all students prior to enrolling in any public college or university in the State of Texas.
