College of Business Administration Names New Faculty

The addition of new faculty members to Texas A&M International University's College of Business Administration has been announced by interim College dean Dr. Kamal Fatehi.

"We are pleased to welcome these new additions to our faculty. Their presence and expertise will enable us to better serve the needs of our students and continue our impressive program growth," Dr. Fatehi said.

Joining the faculty this fall are Ananda Mukherji, Jyotsna Mukherji, Michael Pisani, and Jesus Carmona.

Ananda Mukherji, assistant professor of management, received his Ph.D. in Business Administration with a major in Strategic Management from the University of Memphis in Tennessee. Mukerji also holds a Masters in Business Management from the Xavier Labor Relations Institute of Jamshedpur, India and a BA in Economics from St. Xavier's College at the University of Calcutta, India.

Prior to joining A&M International, he was a visiting lecturer in the department of management for the College of Business Administration at Southern Illinois University at Carbondale.

Jyotsna Mukherji, visiting assistant professor of marketing, is a Ph.D. candidate in Business Administration with a major in Marketing from the University of Memphis.

Mukherji also holds a Masters in Business Management from the Xavier Labor Relations Institute and BA in English Literature from St. Joseph's College, Andhra University of Visakhapatnam, India.

Prior to joining A&M International, she was an instructor at the University of Memphis and at the Indian Institute of Advanced Management.

Michael J. Pisani, instructor, department of economics, is a Ph.D. candidate in Global Business Administration with a specialization in Latin America from the University of Texas-Pan American. Pisani also holds an MA in Latin American Studies from the University of New Mexico, an MBA in International Management, also from UNM, and an AB in International Relations and History from the University of California, Davis.

Previously the University's Assistant Director of Computer and Telecommunications Systems, Pisani has also taught at Montgomery College-North Harris Community College District, UT-Pan Am and Regis University in Denver, Colorado.

Jesus Carmona, instructor, department of accounting and computer information systems, holds an MS in Information Systems from A&M International and a BA in Agronomy from the Instituto Tecnologico de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM) in Monterrey, N.L., Mexico.

Prior to joining the department, Carmona was a Computer and Telecommunications Specialist for A&M International and a computer instructor at South Texas Community College.
