The International Business Association (IBA), a student organization at Texas A&M International University, invites all University students to participate in its annual Adopt-A-Highway litter clean up on Loop 20 from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 10.

Volunteers will meet on A&M International's main campus, 5201 University Boulevard, in the West parking lot at 9 a.m. Vests, bags, and gloves will be distributed to volunteers and the group will then depart to the intersection of Loop 20 and University Boulevard to clean the highway one mile north and one mile south of the University entrance. The IBA will host a picnic at Lake Casa Blanca for volunteers after the clean up, from 12 - 2 p.m.

IBA spokesperson Luz Leal urges all University students to take part in the clean up efforts.

"The IBA believes that every student's learning experience is enhanced through involvement in community services," she said.

The IBA is a student organization dedicated to fostering international business and multi-cultural interaction. Membership is open to any A&M International student who has completed three credit hours of business coursework.
