Jennett Named to Executive Committee

Dr. Charles Jennett, Texas A&M International University president, has been named to the Council of University Presidents and Chancellors Executive Committee.

Dr. Jennett will represent institutions with student enrollment of up to 5,000 students for the period October 1998 to October 1999.

The nine-member executive committee is composed of five newly-elected representatives from institutions spanning from up to 5000 to over 20,0000 students.

The committee is chaired by Dr. Barry Thompson, chancellor of The Texas A&M University System, Vice Chairman Max Castillo of the University of Houston-Downtown, Secretary-Treasurer Dan Angel of Stephen F. Austin State University, and Past Chair Diana Natalicio, The University of Texas-El Paso.
