University's Dr. Kusha to Present Talk on Women Criminologists

Texas A&M International University will host a free presentation entitled "The Contributions of American Women Criminologists to the Field of Criminology" on Wednesday, Dec. 2 from 12 - 1 p.m. at the University in Pellegrino Hall room 112.

Presenter will be Dr. Hamid R. Kusha, Associate Professor of Criminal Justice at A&M International. Dr. Kusha holds a Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of Kentucky, an MA in History, also from UK and a BA in Management from the Abadan Institute of Technology in Abadan, Iran.

The presentation is sponsored by the Women's and Gender Studies Minor Program at A&M International, an interdisciplinary field which both identifies and examines gender issues that are embedded in everyday life, and considers the role and study of women in the humanities, the social sciences, and the sciences.
