Meeting Slated Nov. 17 for Persons Interested in Spain Course, Tour

Persons interested in registering for a history course at Texas A&M International University which includes a 10-day tour to Spain and Gibraltar are invited to attend an Information Meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 17 from 7 - 8 p.m. at the University in Bullock Hall room 224.

Information will be provided on course requirements, tour fees, and itinerary. The meeting will be conducted by Dr. Stanley Green, Professor of History at A&M International. Dr. Green will teach the course and accompany the students to Spain and Gibraltar.

The course will entail 35 hours of classwork to be completed at the University during the Spring semester plus a 10-day tour of Spain and Gibraltar May 18 - 27, during the end-of-semester break between Spring and Summer classes.

Students will explore Madrid, Toledo, Granada, Seville, and Costa del Sol in Spain, and the British colony of Gibraltar, with optional excursions to El Escorial/Segovia/the Valley of the Fallen and Tangiers.

Students who enroll in the course will pay standard tuition and fees plus tour fees of $1,733 - $1,933.
