A&M International President to Editorial Board of Environmental Engineering Journal

Dr. Charles Jennett, president of Texas A&M International University, has been named to the editorial board of Environmental Engineering and Policy: International Journal for Environmental Engineers, Scientists and Policy Makers.

Editor in Chief Dr. Ravi Jain made the announcement of Dr. Jennett's selection.

The new Journal focuses on scientific inquiries, discoveries and innovations related to complex environmental engineering and related policy issues.

It includes commentaries from world-renowned environmental policy-oriented political leaders, book reviews and special issues focusing on specific topics of international concern.

The Journal is specifically dedicated to covering fields including wastewater collection and management, air pollution control technologies, hazardous toxic waste management, fate and transport of environmental contaminants, environmental regulations and compliance, pollution prevention, solid waste management and conservation and environmental protection.

Jennett received his Ph.D. in environmental and water resources engineering from the University of New Mexico and earned master's and bachelor's degrees in civil engineering from Southern Methodist University in Dallas.

A widely published scholar, he is the coauthor of several chapters in academic textbooks on water resources engineering. Prior to joining the University in 1996, he was Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs at Clemson University in Clemson, South Carolina.
