A&M International Hosts Reception April 16 for Art Contest Participants

Local and area high school students who participated in Texas A&M International University's Spring 1999 "Alcohol Abuse Prevention Art Contest" will be recognized at a reception to be held in the Great Room of the University's Sue and Radcliffe Killam Library (room 319) at 7 p.m. Friday, April 16.

The evening event will include an award presentation. Six winning entrants will be awarded scholarships to A&M International. First, second, and third place winners will be awarded scholarships of $1,000, $750, and $500, respectively., and three honorable mention winners will each receive $250 scholarships.

All entries will be exhibited at the University April 14 - 23.
