Pre-Registration Deadline for ESL Teachers Workshops June 25

Primary and secondary English as a Second Language (ESL) teachers who wish to attend upcoming ESL workshops at Texas A&M International University have until Friday, June 25 to take advantage of the special pre-registration fee.

The workshops, "Communication in the ESL Classroom," will be held at A&M International July 8 and 9. The workshop for primary ESL teachers will be held on Thursday, July 8 from 1 - 5 p.m. The workshop for secondary ESL teachers will be held Friday, July 9 from 1 - 5 p.m.

Fee for either workshop is $25 if payment is received on or before June 25.

After June 25, workshop fee is $35 per person.

Registration and payment processing may be completed at the University's International Language Institute, located in the Sue and Radcliffe Killam Library, suite 214.

Continuing Education Units (CEUs) and a certificate will be granted to each workshop participant upon completion.

Workshop presentations include "Sing a Song for Learning," "Getting the Message Across - Writing," "Word by Word - Expanding the ESL Vocabulary," and "Playful Learning - Games in the Classroom."
