A&M International Alumni Association Inducts Officers

The Texas A&M International University Alumni Association has elected officers for 1999-2000. They are Robert Balli, president; Marcus Moreno, president-elect, Steven Wright, secretary; and Duane Burdorf, treasurer.

The new officers were inducted during a special ceremony held recently in the Sue and Radcliffe Killam Library.

The ceremony was presided by outgoing Alumni Association president Kriztella Lopez, with the induction conducted by Webb County Attorney Homero Ramirez.

Among the guests who attended the event were A&M International president Dr. Charles Jennett, who congratulated the new officers and expressed thanks to the organization for their many contributions to the University.

The Texas A&M International University Alumni Association has served graduates since 1972. Among the organization's accomplishments is the establishment of the Texas A&M International University Alumni Association Scholarship, which is awarded every academic year.
