The workshop series will be conducted by the University's Department of Student Development. They are designed to enhance the leadership skills and abilities of student organization sponsors and members.

The first workshop in the series will be held on Thursday, September 30 at 3 p.m. in the Kinesiology/Convocation Building, room 103. Titled "Advising a Student Organization," the workshop is designed for both experienced and novice student organization sponsors. It will feature a dialogue on the challenges, rewards, and approaches to advising a student organization.

Additional leadership workshops for student organization members and sponsors will be offered throughout the Fall semester said Gabriela Mendoza, Associate Director of Student Development at A&M International.
