SAT Preparation Course at A&M International Begins Sept. 18

High school students and others who need to take the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) are invited to enroll in a "SAT Preparation" course to be offered at Texas A&M International University Saturday mornings from Sept. 18 - Nov. 13.

The course will include a pre-test, a computerized exam-interactive study program covering both math and English, and a post test.

Tuition and lab fee is $90.

The course will be taught by two A&M International faculty members. Dr. Juan Moran-Lopez, assistant professor of physics, will teach the math portion of the course. Dr. Kathleen Pletsch de Garcia, assistant professor of English and Spanish, will teach the English portion.

Class schedule is as follows: 8 a.m. - 12 noon Sept. 18, Oct. 2, 16, 30, and Nov. 6; and 9 a.m. - 12 noon Sept. 25, Oct. 9, 23, and Nov. 13.

Interested persons may register for the course through the University's Office of Continuing Education located in the Sue and Radcliffe Killam Library, room 431. Office hours are 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday - Friday.
