Four members of Texas A&M International University's Student Government Association (SGA) took part in the 21st Annual National Leadership Conference on Student Government held recently in St. Louis, Missouri.

The A&M International students were Joella Ballesteros, SGA Senator representing the College of Arts and Humanities; Indira Barrera, Senator, College of Business Administration; Gilbert Cardenas, Justice at Large; Alejandra Diaz, President. They were accompanied by David E. VerMilyea, Director of Student Development at A&M International and SGA sponsor.

Topics addressed through small group discussion and special activities included goal setting, improving student government elections, student legal rights, multicultural student issues, ethical decision making, communications skill development, and motivating student volunteers.
