Students who have not had an opportunity to take their ACT or SAT for college admission may want to consider a special ACT Residual Test to be offered for admission to Texas A&M International University.

Maria Rosillo, director of admissions, said the ACT Residual Test should be considered by students wanting to begin progress on their undergraduate degree this Spring.

"We realize that students who are graduating at the end of December from high school may not have had an opportunity to take all of the required tests to continue their education towards an academic degree. This ACT Residual Test can be used for admission to A&M International only, but appropriate scores on the ACT Residual and a completed application could enable the student to begin their program this Spring," Rosillo said.

The A&M International ACT Residual Test will be offered in December or January, based on requests from students wanting to take the test.

For additional information about the ACT Residual Test for admission to Texas A&M International University this Spring, please call Zulema Marroquin in the University's Academic Enrichment Office at 326.2131 or visit offices located in Killam Library room 203B.

University office hours are from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday-Friday.
