"Cheer & Dance Extravaganza" Sunday at A&M International

The Texas A&M International University High Twisters dance team will host their second annual "Cheer and Dance Extravaganza" on Sunday, Jan. 23, from 2 - 4 p.m. in the University' Kinesiology/Convocation Building.

The high energy event will feature performances by the High Twisters and dance teams from area high schools, middle schools, and elementary schools.

Among the dance teams scheduled to perform are: Cigarroa High School Toro Cheerleaders, Los Obispos Middle School Cheerleaders, Martin High School All Stars, Martin High School Tigerettes, Martin High School Cheerleaders, Matias de Llano Elementary School Cheerleaders and Dance Team, Memorial Middle School Cheerleaders, Memorial Middle School Strutters Dance Team, Nixon High School Cheerleaders, Nixon High School Golden Spurs, Nye Elementary School Wildcat Cheerleaders, Perez Elementary School Starletts Dance Team, Prada Elementary School Cheerleaders, Ryan Elementary School Silver Paws, Octavio Salinas Elementary School Cheerleaders, Santa Maria Elementary School Cheerleaders, United DD Hachar Bobcat Cheerleaders, United Middle School Maverettes, George Washington Middle School Sparklers Dance Team, and George Washington Middle School Bobcat Cheerleaders.

Admission is $3 per person. Proceeds from this fundraiser will help the High Twisters defray dance camp costs.
