A&M International Holds Blood Drive Thurs., April 13

Texas A&M International University, in cooperation with the South Texas Blood and Tissue Center, will hold a Blood Drive on Thursday, April 13 from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. in front of the University's Sue and Radcliffe Killam Library.

Anyone between the ages of 17 and 72 who weighs at least 110 pounds, has not had hepatitis, is in good general health, and shows proper photo identification may donate blood.

Donors will receive free blood typing, cholesterol level, hemoglobin and hematocrit level, HIV and syphilis testing, plus membership in a Blood Benefit Plan which entitles donors and their immediate family to financial coverage of uninsured blood costs of up to $1,000 for a period of one year after donation.

Interested persons may register to donate blood by calling A&M International's Office of Student Health Services at 326-2235 or by visiting the office in the Killam Library, room 156.
