Registration Underway for ESL Courses at A&M International

Registration is underway at Texas A&M International University for Intensive, Semi-Intensive, and Conversational English as a Second Language (ESL) courses offered through the University's International Language Institute.

Intensive ESL courses will be offered weekday mornings, Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 12:45 p.m., from May 29 - July 21. Six course levels, for beginning to advanced students, will be offered, with instruction focused on grammar, reading, writing, and listening and speaking. Intensive ESL courses consist of 160 classroom hours plus additional work in a multimedia lab. Tuition is $800 per course.

Semi-Intensive ESL courses will be offered Monday - Thursday evenings, 7:30 - 10 p.m., from May29 - July 21. Six course levels, for beginning to advanced students, will be offered. Instruction will focus on listening, speaking, and grammar. Semi-Intensive ESL courses consist of 80 classroom hours. Tuition is $400 per course.

An advanced Conversational ESL course will be offered May 29 - July 21, Monday and Wednesday evenings, from 7:30 - 10 p.m. Tuition for the 40-hour course is $200.

Registration for ESL courses is being conducted at ILI offices located in the Sue and Radcliffe Killam Library, suite 214.
