Students still have a chance to get ahead with summer courses at Texas A&M International University Late registration is underway through Tuesday, May 30. Classes continue through June 30.

Summer Session II registration is July 3 from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. with classes beginning July 5. Late registration ends July 6. Classes continue through Aug. 5.

Summer coursework has traditionally been an advantageous time for students of all ages to add hours and speed their degree progress, Director of Admissions Maria R. Rosillo said.

"A large number of students want to get a few courses completed before Fall enrollment. Students from other institutions come home for the summer and take courses here as well. We also see a number of beginning or continuing graduate programs, for example, local educators continuing progress on a masters or additional certification," Rosillo said.

A full variety of courses is available, from Algebra and Dance Fitness to Corporate Finance and Beginning Swimming.
