A&M International's College of Business Redesigns Web Page for Easier Access

Texas A&M International University's College of Business Administration has made additional improvements in the design of its Web page for easier visitor access and better service to local businesses.

The new page URL is www.tamiu.edu/coba.

The links featured in the Web page include information about the College dean, academic programs, various departments within the College and research information, said Dr. Stephen Lunce, associate professor of information systems. Lunce and information systems major Robert Krochmal redesigned the Web page.

"The research link is designed to be especially useful to both the Laredo and the international community that A&M International serves. The research page provides links to four sources of information including faculty, department, topic and research units," Dr. Lunce said, "Each is designed to provide access to research being conducted by faculty members and the College's research centers."

Visitors wishing to know information about a particular faculty member's research interests will also find such data on the new Web page, Lunce said.

"We also provide access to information of concern to both potential and current students as well as of interest to alumni and former students. Links to information about student activities, clubs, scholarships and student services are also easily accessible," Lunce said.

Lunce added that the objective of the new design is to provide easier access to information about the College of Business Administration and its faculty through an easy-to-use interface.

"We encourage both students, future students and businesses who wish to keep in contact with us to visit the new Web page," Lunce said.
