Student Organizations Consider a Variety of Interests at A&M International

Students enrolling at Texas A&M International University this Fall can expect to find more than 34 student clubs and organizations designed to suit a variety of interests.

They include: the Accounting Society, Alpha Kappa Delta International Sociology Honors Society, Ambassadors, Art Club, Ballet Folklorico, Biology Club, Chemistry Club, Co-ed Cheer Squad, Club de Español Siglo XXI, Criminal Justice Scholars, Dance Club, Devils Indoor Soccer Club, Electronic Commerce Association, Environment Protection Society and Golf Club.

Other organizations also include the Health and Fitness Club, High Twisters, History Club, International Business Association, Association of International Students, Judo Club, Music Lovers Club, Muslim Student Association, Newman Club, Political Science Association, Pre-Law Society, Progressive Alliance, Rotaract Club, Sigma Beta Delta, Student Nurses Association, Student Systems Group, Student Government Association, Sigma Tau Delta, and Women Advancing Women.

Those interested in starting their own student organization may visit the Department of Student Development at Kinesiology/Convocation Building 107 or contact 326-2280 or 326-2282. University office hours are 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
