Where can kids ages 6 to 15 get a great night of pizza, soft drinks, video games and fun for only $15? At a "Lock-In" to be held Friday, September 15 from midnight to 6 a.m. at Peter Piper's Pizza, 4600 San Dario.

The supervised, fun-filled event is sponsored by Texas A&M International University's Dustdevil Co-Ed Cheer Squad. Cheer Squad sponsor Geraldine Cortez said the Lock-In is a safe way to bring kids together for a fun night they'll never forget.

"For a $15 donation, kids ages 6 to 15 will get all the pizza they can eat, they'll spend the entire night playing video games and having fun, they'll meet new friends, have donuts in the morning, plus their donation will help fund Cheer Squad activities," she explained.

A Parental Consent Form must be completed by the parent when the child is dropped off.

Proceeds from the Lock-In will help the Cheer Squad attend out-of-town camps and competitions and purchase equipment.

The Cheer Squad boosts school spirit and promotes the University's image by performing at local and regional events and participating in community service projects.

For more information, contact Squad sponsor Geraldine Cortez at 326-2121. University office hours are 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday - Friday.
