Dance Teams Invited to Register for "Cheer & Dance Xtravaganza"

Dance teams from local and area high schools, middle schools, and elementary schools are invited to participate in Texas A&M International University's third annual "Cheer and Dance Xtravaganza."

The high energy event is sponsored by the University's High Twisters dance team. It will be held on Sunday, Jan. 21, from 3 - 5 p.m. in the University's Kinesiology/Convocation Building.

The Cheer and Dance Xtravaganza will feature competitive performances by participating dance teams and performances by the High Twisters.

Dance teams may sign up for the event by contacting High Twisters sponsor Araceli S. Rangel at 326-2225. Participants must register for the event by Jan. 12, 2001.

There is no registration fee for participants, but a $3 fee per spectator will be charged. All monies raised will help defray dance camp expenses.
