Registration Deadline Nears for "Cheer & Dance Xtravaganza"

Local and area elementary, middle, and high school dance teams have until Friday, Jan. 12 to register to participate in Texas A&M International University's third annual "Cheer and Dance Xtravaganza."

Registration is free and may be completed by contacting event organizer Araceli S. Rangel, sponsor of A&M International's High Twisters dance team, at 326-2225.

The high energy Xtravaganza will be held on Sunday, Jan. 21, from 3 - 5 p.m. in the University's Kinesiology/Convocation Building.

It will feature competitive performances by the participating dance teams plus performances by the High Twisters.

Admission fee for spectators is $3 per person. Monies raised will help defray the High Twisters' dance camp expenses.
