The last of three finalists for the presidency of Texas A&M International University will participate in campus and community forums next Wednesday, June 27.

Dr. Ray Keck, A&M International's provost, will be featured in a community forum set Wednesday, June 27 from 2:30-3:30 p.m. in Bullock Hall 118.

Dr. Keck is the last of the three finalists announced earlier this month by presidential search advisory committee chair Dr. Walter Wendler, vice chancellor for planning and system integration for The Texas A&M University System.

The other finalists who have already completed their campus visits are Dr. Danny Arnold, dean of the New Mexico State University College of Business and Dr. Raymond T. Garza, director of the Metropolitan Research and Policy Institute, University of Texas-San Antonio.

Dr. Wendler has indicated that both The Texas A&M University System Chancellor and Board of Regents' goal is to name a president by the end of July to be in office by the middle of August.

The national search process began in January after president Charles Jennett announced his retirement effective the end of August.
