Texas A&M International University has expanded its Office of Public Affairs and Information Services staff with the addition of Jessica Whitt Ratliff as Communications Specialist.

Ratliff, originally from Colorado, holds a B.A. in International Relations from Pacific University and an M.A. in International Relations from Yale University. While at Pacific, she traveled extensively in China and speaks Mandarin Chinese.

She most recently worked for the public relations firm of Fenton Communications in New York City, where she coordinated public relations for a million-dollar account. "We are honored to have Jessica as part of our dynamic team of communicators commited to telling the University's inspirational story," said Steve Harmon, director of the Office of Public Affairs and Information Services.

In addition to University-wide reporting, Ratliff will work closely with the College of Science and Technology. She will also write for the University's magazine, Prism, and will assist with special publications projects.

The Office of Public Affairs and Information Services is part of the University's Division of Institutional Advancement.
