If you are interested in teaching English in a foreign country, a presentation given by a former Texas A&M International University student who is now teaching in China might interest you.

Nelson Bank, currently teaching at a K-12 school in the Hubei Province of China, will give his presentation, "Teach in China" Monday, Aug. 6 from 12 -1 p.m. in Pellegrino Hall 107.

Bank, who is also serving as a recruiter of English teachers for the Hubei Province, said the Province is in dire need of English teachers with a bachelor's degree.

"China is opening up to foreign countries and they are taking the United States as one of their major role models for business, education and for some parts of their culture," he said.

Those attending the presentation will receive information on documents they will need to compile to be able to teach in China, Bank said.
