A&M International's Career Services Announces New Link

Texas A&M International University students who were formerly searching for jobs under the Career Services web link, www.econnect.com, can now visit a new and upgraded version of the link by typing in cs.brassringcampus.com.

Virginia Garcia director of Career Services, said students can post their résumés on the new link or search for a wide array of jobs available in the South Texas area.

"By accessing this website, students can open a new door of employment opportunities and have employers interested in their résumés contact them directly," Garcia said.

Employers can also post their company or organization on the link, Garcia said.

"They (employers) can register with the A&M International Office of Career Services first and then have their openings viewed by our students," Garcia said, "Since the résumés and job openings are updated regularly, visitors can expect to find new information."

The new link can also be accessed through the University's homepage, www.tamiu.edu.

The Office of Career Services at A&M International provides a variety of services including on-campus recruitment, job vacancy listings and posting and résumé referrals, Garcia said. Services are available to students and alumni of the University.
