A&M International Sets Summer Session II Registration July 9

Summer courses continue at Texas A&M International University with Registration for Summer Session II scheduled for Monday, July 9 from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Late registration will end July 11. Classes begin July 10 and continue through Aug. 8.

Summer has traditionally been a time for students of all ages to speed their degree progress by taking courses that are designed for a variety of interests, said Maria Rosillo, director of admissions.

"We see a great number of students who wish to get a few courses completed before they enroll here in the Fall. Those who have already been accepted to other institutions or are enrolled elsewhere find it advantageous to take courses here before transferring," said Rosillo.

A large group of students also take summer courses to speed up their degree progress, Rosillo said.

"Another large group is students beginning or continuing graduate programs. For example, local educators find summer an ideal time to continue their progress on a masters or additional certification," Rosillo said.
