Early Fall 2001 Registration Ends Friday

Early Registration for Fall Semester 2001 courses at Texas A&M International University ends Aug. 3. General Registration will be conducted by alphabetical sequence on Aug. 24 from 11 a.m. - 7 p.m. at A&M International's campus, 5201 University Boulevard. Online registration is available at lasso.tamiu.edu for students meeting requirements.

Students may register for courses leading to 54 undergraduate or graduate degrees. Returning students should see their faculty advisors for early registration. New transfer students will need to make an appointment with an advisor in the Registrar's Office by calling 326.2217.

Entering freshman must attend Orientation Aug. 15-16 for advisement and registration. The due date for payment of tuition and fees for those who register early is Aug. 23. Students who register early should be aware that registration will not be automatically dropped from the computer system. One must officially drop or withdraw from courses by calling or visiting the Registrar's Office.

Late Registration for Fall semester courses will end at 3 p.m. on Aug. 31. A late fee of $20 will be assessed to all students registering late.

Fall semester courses at A&M International begin Aug. 27. The last day of Fall classes is Dec. 5 with final exams scheduled for Dec. 7-13.

The Office of the Registrar is open from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, and Friday and 8 a.m. - 7 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday.
