Friday Registration Directions for A&M International Provided

General registration for Fall 2001 semester courses at Texas A&M International University is Friday, August 24 and will be conducted by alphabetical sequence from 11 a.m. - 7 p.m. at A&M International's main campus, 5201 University Boulevard. Online registration is available at lasso.tamiu.edu for students meeting requirements.

The alphabetical registration sequence schedule is as follows: 11 a.m. -12 p.m. C-F; 12 -1 p.m. G-K; 1 -2 p.m. L-P; 2 - 3 p.m. Q-T; 3 - 4 p.m. U-Z and A-B; 5 - 7 p.m. Open.

Most students will register in the Kinesiology/Convocation Building with the following exceptions: first-time freshmen and concurrent high school students will register in the Sue and Radcliffe Killam Library, room 157; post-baccalaureate certificate and deficiency plan students will register in Killam Library, room 334; and nursing students will register in the Dr. F.M. Canseco Hall, room 315.

A complete listing of Fall course offerings is available on the University's home page at http://www.tamiu.edu, under LASSO. Copies of A&M International's Fall 2001 class schedules are also available from the University's Office of the Registrar, Killam Library, room 168.

The Office of the Registrar is open from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, and Friday and 8 a.m. - 7 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday.

Late Registration for Fall semester courses will end at 3 p.m. on Aug 31. A late fee of $20 will be assessed to all students registering late.

Fall semester courses at A&M International begin Aug. 27. The last day of Fall classes is Dec. 5 with final exams scheduled for Dec. 7-13.
