$51,054 in Texas AMP Scholarships Awarded to A&M International Students

The Texas Alliance for Minority Participation (Texas AMP) has recently awarded a total of $51,054 in scholarships to 103 Texas A&M International University students.

The Texas AMP scholarship is geared for minority undergraduate students majoring in mathematics, biology, engineering, chemistry, science and computer information systems. Awards range as high as $500.

A&M International students who received the Texas AMP Scholarship are Cristina Ayala, Cesar Banuelos, Gabriel Cantu, Judith Cardenas, Roxanna Castillo, Imelda Chapa, Albert Charles Jr., Pamela Clark, Yareth Coutino, Charles Dalrymple, Yolanda De la Cruz, Melissa Del Castillo, Robert Luis Castillon, Jessica De Leon, Luis De Leon, James Delgado, and Adrian Domiguez.

Scholarship recipients also include Rebecca Espinoza, Sergio Espinoza, Bernice Esteghamatdarshad, Marissa Fermin, Jesus Flores, Jose Flores, Stefanie Fritzgers, Jacklyn Gallegos, Alejandro Gammon, Jose Aaron Garza Jr., Sylvia Garza, Andres Gonzalez, Mirna Gonzalez, Adrian Herrera, Jeffrey Huvar, Maria Guadalupe Ibarra, Priscilla Jalomo, Alma Velia Jasso, Rachel Kennedy, Enrique Lobo, Josue Lopez, Mario Lopez Jr., and Nancy C. Lozano.

In addition, Guillermo Macias, Jessica Maciel, Steven Mansbach, Elvira K. Mante, Berenisse Mares, Thomas Martin Jr., Gabriel Martinez, Jesse Orlando Martinez, Lydia S. Martinez, Selina Diane Martinez, Liz Paulina Millon, Pablo Morales, Juan Morin-Lopez, Sonia Moreno, Danny Munoa, Rocio K. Najera, Anita Narvaez, Cesar J. Navarro, Richard Ornelas, Metzli Ortega, Norma Oralia Ortiz, Hipolito Palomo, Fuzhan Pharzigar, Jolinda Peña, Karla Peña, Alex Perez, Valerie Perez, Rodrigo Perez-del Rio, Rene Prado, and Elsa Puente also received the scholarship
