A&M International Groups to Perform at Blood Drive

The Second Annual "Blood for All" Blood Drive, sponsored in part by Texas A&M International University, Laredo Community College, the Laredo Morning Times, Doctors Hospital of Laredo and Mercy Health Systems of Texas, will be held from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Mall del Norte, Saturday, January 19, 2002. Donors must be at least 17 years old, weigh at least 110 pound and be in good general health.

A&M International Department for Fine and Performing Arts will provide free entertainment, featuring performances from the Classical Spanish Ballet/Dance Troupe, the Classical Guitar Ensemble, the Chamber String Ensemble and the award-winning Mariachi Internacional.

Donors will receive a blood drive t-shirt, a cholesterol check and refreshments will be provided. Donors will also be eligible for several prizes, including two nights at Hampton Inn, dinner for four at the Hard Rock Café and four tickets to Splash Town.
