TAMIU Enrollment Representatives Set High School Visits

Throughout the Spring semester, local high school students will have easy access to Texas A&M International University representatives who can provide information, answers and assistance in continuing the student's higher education.

Office of Enrollment Management and School Relations representatives will be at each public high school campus twice a week for about two hours each visit. Office of Financial Aid representatives will also visit high school campuses once a week. Both can discuss the benefits of attending the University and help students with the application process, academic testing, financial aid and concurrent enrollment.

Campuses, locations, days, times and representatives are as follows:

Nixon High School Counseling Center -- Mondays 1-2:30 p.m. and Tuesdays 9:45-11:45 a.m. -- Verónica González. A financial aid representative will be available Tuesdays.

United South High School Library -- Tuesdays 8:30-10:30 a.m. and Thursdays 8:30-11 a.m. -- Armando Alvarado. A financial aid representative will be available Thursdays.

Martin High School Counseling Center -- Tuesdays 11 a.m.-1 p.m. and Fridays 8:30-10:30 a.m. - Armando Alvarado. A financial aid representative will be available Tuesdays.

Laredo Independent School District Health Science Center - Fridays 10:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.-1:30 p.m.

Cigarroa High School Counseling Center -- Tuesdays 1:30-3:30 p.m. and Thursdays 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. -- Jerry Alva. A financial aid representative will be available Tuesdays.

Alexander High School Library -- Tuesdays 10:15 a.m.-12:30 p.m. and Thursdays 1:30 p.m.-3:30 p.m. -- Jerry Alva. A financial aid representative will be available Thursdays.

United High School Cafetorium -- Tuesdays 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m. and Thursdays 1:30-3:30 p.m. -- Gina De La Miyar. A financial aid representative will be available Thursdays.

University enrollment management office hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday, Tuesday and Friday and 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., Wednesday and Thursday.
