El Metro Announces Stop Changes at TAMIU

Students and visitors to Texas A&M International University who utilize El Metro will find that bus stops at the University will change effective Monday, March 25.

The changes are consistent with the University's recent opening of its new Student Center, which has become the new focal point of the campus and student activities.

Campus bus stops will now be located in front of the Student Center, on the west side of the building and in front of University Village, the on-campus housing complex.

TAMIU recently contracted with El Metro for expanded hours and services to the University in answer to student requests. Almost 30 additional hours of service were added.

Service is now continual from 7 a.m. until 9:55 p.m. Monday-Friday. Saturday service has been expanded to 7:05 p.m. and service is available from 12:55 p.m. to 7:05 p.m. on Sundays and holidays.
