On Thursday, April 4, Texas A&M International University's Programs for Academic Support and Enrichment (PASE) will host an annual Spring Fair to promote the many academic support services available to students. The Fair will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 5 to 8 p.m.

Students should report to the Sue and Radcliffe Killam Library breezeway to meet with tour guides. Students who visit all of the offices will have their names entered into a drawing for a DVD player.

Conchita Hickey, executive director of PASE, said that the Fair is a great opportunity for students to learn about ways in which the University can help them become better students and improve their college education.

"There are a great many ways we can help students. This Fair will give everyone the opportunity to see what we have to offer. We will have goodies and treats at each of the department offices for all participants, with opportunities for the visitors to inquire about what each department offers. Students and faculty are strongly encouraged to come by and visit with the directors and their staff," said Hickey.

PASE consists of the new Writing Center, the Testing and Computer Lab Center, the Center for Advancement of Scholastic Achievement (CASA Tutoring), the TRIO Star Program, General University and the International Language Institute.

For more information, please contact Hickey at 326.2134, visit offices in the Sue and Radcliffe Killam Library, room 214, or email chickey@tamiu.edu. University office hours are from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
