The music of Mozart, Bach and Schubert will form a kaleidoscope of melodies at Texas A&M International University Department of Fine and Performing Arts' Chamber Music Recital Monday, April 29 at 7 p.m. in the Western Hemispheric Trade Center, room 111.

Directed by Jennifer Cahill Clark, assistant professor of music, the concert will feature students playing various instruments including the violin, viola, cello, flute and piano. The recital is free and open to the public.

Students will interpret works such as the "Hungarian Dance No. IV," "Quartet in D Major, K. 285," "Brandenburg Concerto No. 4 in G Major," and "String Quartet in d minor, D. 810" during an event they prepared for a semester, Clark said.

"The audience at this recital will be able to enjoy the fruit of labor that our music students put in during the Spring semester," Clark said, "We invite everyone whose hearts and souls are soothed by music to attend this recital."

The Chamber Music Recital is one of several fine and performing arts events that showcase A&M International's growth in the arts arena in preparation for the opening of the Fine and Performing Arts complex.
