National Library Week Celebrated with Poetry at TAMIU

In honor of National Library Week, Texas A&M International University's Sue and Radcliffe Killam Library faculty and staff are hosting their annual poetry reading Thursday, April 18, 2002, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., in the Library Great Room.

Anyone who would like to read original works of poetry or even a favorite poem by someone else is welcome.

Rodney Webb, director, said he hoped the community would participate and attend the event.

"We welcome anyone who is interested in poetry. We hope to have a diverse selection of audience members and participants, from the University and throughout the Laredo community," said Webb.
