TAMIU Fall Registration Set Friday

General registration for Fall semester 2002 courses at Texas A&M International University will be conducted by alphabetical sequence on Friday, August 23 from 11 a.m. - 7 p.m. at TAMIU, 5201 University Boulevard. This is also the last day for 100 percent refund for withdrawing (all classes dropped). Online registration is available at lasso.tamiu.edu for students meeting requirements.

The alphabetical registration sequence schedule is as follows: 11:00 a.m. -12:00 p.m. G-K; 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 L-P; 1:00 p.m. -2:00 p.m. Q-T; 2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. U-Z and A-B; 3:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. C-F; 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Open.

Most students will register in the Student Center rotunda with the following exceptions: first-time freshmen and concurrent high school students will register in the Student Center, room 157; post-baccalaureate certificate and deficiency plan students will register in the Sue and Radcliffe Killam Library, room 328; and nursing students will register in Canseco Hall, room 315.

A complete listing of Fall course offerings is available on the World Wide Web on the University's Home Page at http://www.tamiu.edu, under LASSO. Copies of TAMIU's Fall 2002 class schedules are also available from the University's Office of the Registrar, Killam Library, room 168.

Late Registration for Fall semester courses will end Aug 30. A late fee of $20 will be assessed.

Fall semester courses at TAMIU begin Aug. 26. The last day of Fall classes is Dec. 4 with final exams scheduled for Dec. 6-12.

The Office of the Registrar is open from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, and Friday and 8 a.m. - 7 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday.
