New Courses This Fall at TAMIU

In order to meet the demands of the University community, Texas A&M International University will be adding 17 new courses this fall. From music counterpoint to sports media, students at TAMIU will find a world of information waiting for them.

The new courses this fall are:

College of Arts and Humanities: French Horn, Woodwind Methods, Brass Methods, Counterpoint, Special Issues in Communication: Sports Media, and Special Issues in Communication: Photography and Photojournalism.

College of Education: Theories, Appraisal Techniques, Pre-Practicum Skills, Healthy Lifestyles, Health Issues of Diverse Populations, Professional Paper for Special Populations, Research Design for Special Populations and Thesis for Special Populations.

College of Science and Technology: Biometry as an undergraduate course, Biometry as a graduate course and Engineering I.

General Registration is Friday, August 23. For more information about specific classes, please contact the appropriate college.

For information about enrollment or registering for classes, please contact the Office of the University Registrar at 326.2250, or visit offices in the Sue and Radcliffe Killam Library, room 168.

The Office of the Registrar is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday, Tuesday and Friday and from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., Wednesday and Thursday. Information is also available online at www.tamiu.edu.
