TAMIU's Center for the Study of Western Hemispheric Trade Keynote Speaker Series to Continue Nov. 5

Texas A&M International University's Center for the Study of Western Hemispheric Trade Keynote Speaker Series continues with a lecture entitled "Economic Crisis in Latin America," presented by William C. Gruben, vice-president and chief economist for the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas.

The lecture will be held Tuesday, November 5, 2002, and begin at 7:30 p.m. in the Western Hemispheric Trade Center, room 116. The event is free and open to the public.

Gruben will discus how international trade, international capital flows, currency regimes and banking apply to developing countries in Latin America. He will also explain the economic crisis in Latin America.
