Registration for TAMIU Summer Session I Scheduled May 29

Students looking for a jump start on their degree plan will be pleased to know that summer school at Texas A&M International University begins soon.

General Registration for Summer Session I will be held on Thursday, May 29 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Classes begin on Monday, June 2 and will end Thursday, July 3.

Summer Session II General Registration will take place on Monday, July 7 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Classes begin Tuesday, July 8 and will conclude Thursday, August 7.

Long Summer Session General Registration will also be held on Thursday, May 29. Classes begin Monday, June 2 and conclude Thursday, August 7.

Summer commencement will be held on Friday, August 8 on the University Green at 8 p.m.

The University will be closed Monday, May 26 for the Memorial Holiday, and July 4, for Independence Day.

In addition, beginning Thursday, May 15, the University will be on a ten-hour four-day workweek, open from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday, closed Friday.

Notable exceptions will be the Office of Student Counseling Services, which will be open until 8 p.m. on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, the Office of Career Services, which will be open until 7 p.m. on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and the Sue and Radcliffe Killam Library. Because library hours will vary over the summer, please contact 326.2138 for more information. The Student Center will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday through Thursday, closed Friday. The University will return to the regular 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday on Thursday, August 14.

Early registration for the Fall 2003 semester will begin Monday, July 21 and continue through Thursday, July 31. General Registration will take place Friday, August 22, and classes will begin Monday, August 25.
