Dr. Ray Keck, University president, received the check and lauded Time Warner's philanthropy.

Time Warner officials also announced that the company will give an additional $50,000 over the next two years to raise their total contribution to $250,000, explained Esteban Ventura.

"Time Warner is proud to have worked with TAMIU over the past seven years and is committed to making a difference in the education of our local youth," said Ventura.
